My ice maker makes ice, but the ice sits on top of the ice maker instead of passing into bin. This stops the ice maker from producing any more ice. Once I remove the ice from the top, the ice maker resumes making ice. I probably have to knock the ice off the top daily, although sometimes the ice makes it into the ice bin without assistance.
The other issue is about once a week, it seems the water is overflowing into the ice maker, sending water throughout the freezer, including into the ice bin. Water then drips out the bottom of the freezer door and out of the ice bin.
It was suggested to me that I replace the pc board kit, item #AP3137510. Will this part fix my problems?

I am experiencing the same problem with the ice sitting on top of ice maker. What did you do to fix it? I replaced the icemaking assembly, not the pc board kit, and it fixed the problem.

Thank you. I just replaced my ice maker last night a well. This morning, I have ice in the bin. It's working. Looks like the easiest way to fix an ice maker problem is simply to replace the whole ice maker. Thanks for the reply.
