I have two lose handles on my refrigerator. the handles are model # 8201822. From what I found on line, it says to remove handles lift up and it will com off. That isn't working, I pulled up gently but firmly and I have tried pulling up fast and hard.. nothing works. I can't seem to find a manual or video on line showing how they come off. The looseness of the handles is annoying. Any Help.....:( thank you Rick

Below is a picture of the clip that is attached to the handle by two screws. Click on the picture for another view and a Q&A about it. Part number: AP3181361
A bolt head on the door goes into the large hole and then is slid into the slotted part of the clip. Then the little latch that is part of the clip prevents moves over the bolt head and prevents it from moving up or down. This is probably what is making it difficult to get off. Perhaps you just have to use more force while pushing the handle in and then up. Try pulling the handle towards you and then moving it up. You could also try releasing the clip by pushing an old credit card or a small putty knife between the handle and the door to release the clip. Be careful if using anything metal as you do not want to scratch your door. |
