After moving out in garage, the Whirlpool Fridge will not start. The lights come up but no sound from freezer. What could be the problem? It worked just fine 5 days ago in the apartment but not now in the garage. We did remove the doors, so its easer to moving and then I put it back. Is there a sensor for the door that tells not to start the fridge if its not accurately closed? Any help is much appreciated

p.s. After moving out in garage, I didn't plug in the fridge till someone i sold came up to pick the fridge. Then we plugged it in just to test before they were loading in the truck and guess what? It is not starting! I felt bad...the person i sold probably thinks i was lying. Anyhow, I don't think the fridge went bad just by us moving outside the house into garage for 5 days...its seems too big of coincidence

A model number may help others help you.

Also depends on what the ambient temperature in the garage was.

Thank You
Model:GT22DKXGN01
Type:C22TFA99

After plugged for 18h, it have turned on but some what quitter and not cooling the main section well...or it appears that way. The freezer seems cold. I also unable to adjust the temperature switch (Warm to Cold) for the main section not the freezer.

I forgot to mention while the refrigerator was in garage April 1 - 5, there was snow storm and freezing at nights in MN. Can it be that there was something frozen and thats why didn't start...but now when warmed up and plugged in for several hours it is starting to work?
Thank You
