The top broiler element was not working so I ordered the part from here. Shut the breaker, replaced the part and it still does not work.
Frustrated.... any ideas???
Thanks in advance.

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool RBD245PDQ6 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. Sounds like it is a control board problem re: the broil relay's contacts are not closing. Could be that the relay's contacts are toast. Could be that the electronics that control the relay are not working correctly. Could be that the relay itself is shot. I am assuming that the broil element never comes on in broil, bake or pre-heat. |

I am not sure why it will not open. I tried opening it in Firefox and Internet Explorer and both worked.

I am stuck using a kindle fire hd. All my other pdf files open. Strange. I downloaded the file at work and printed it. I am a computer guy, but I don't know where to start with this since I am not getting an error code.
Is there troubleshooting for the oven I could do? or Are there parts I should order and replace? Thank you!!

With the unit unplugged you could measure from P6-4 (broil relay) to L2 (red). It should read about 10 ohms.
If OK then I would replace the control board. |

I found my grandfather's old tester, read the booklet and learned how to test for OHMS. Proud of myself. LOL!! Now I can't figure out how to get the control panel off. None of the booklets/instructions I have downloaded show how to do that.
I apologize. I am a computer guy and have never been good with anything electrical except computers. Thank you very much your continued help and patience.
