I wanted to service a washer similar to this. The electronics where good, but the washer would not agitate or spin. Does anyone know how to find the bad part, diagnostics showed a problem with motion sensor.

I can send you the manual for these, if you'd like. The most common failure that causes no motion in spin and agitate is a bad splutch assembly, if the motor is running. Let me know on the manual.

Thanks for responding. The motor would not run on this and I learned the most common problem is a broken motor wire. I have downloaded the manual for these, but there is little practical info in it. In the future, I will just have to resort to the old way of meter measurements, the diagnostics really don't help on this type of problem.

Yes, motor not running would cause issues, nice find. The diagnostics are quite a routine to get in to and are not real helpful. This design is not my favorite design from Whirloool!
