This is a dual convection oven/microwave model. Control panel has power and heating elements receive current when control panel is activated, but neither of the heating elements will light. I replaced the upper element thinking that was the problem but the elements will still not light, despite receiving power (using a current meter).
Could this be a control panel problem? Transformer problem? I am not a technician but I am very good at replacing parts. I'm just dumbfounded as to why if elements are receiving power, why the oven will not heat up.

Your model number comes up as a Kitchenaid/Whirlpool unit not a Frigidaire. Also even when it comes up as a whirlpool it is not a microwave unit. It is just a convection oven. So I do not know what is going on here. How many amperes (current) flows through the elements. |
