maytag stacking laundry team with computer touch pad controls ,mfd feb 1991. washer overflows (doesn't stop filling) only when hot is selected. verified signal tubing to drum is clear and intact. swapped out water level switch pt#2-06418 . made no difference . interestingly though I observed that hot water valve is still open even if unit is unplugged and then plugged back in. would suspect water valve , but works consistently ok when warm is selected. any help would be appreciated , thanks in advance ...dave

PS I did find this # inside the door of the dryer ( stacking combo) LSE9900C serial 300816 , but I thought maybe the washer had a separate id badge? Does it ? thanks again ..dave
