I hear a continuous clicking noise when the compressor? fans are running. Less then two weeks old. Purchased from lowes. What's wrong? Is it still under any kind of warranty? I can still purchase extended warranty, if you think that is the best thing to do.

Thanks,

Depends what is clicking.
If it is the start device on the compressor get it fixed under warranty as it could be an expensive repair.

It should have a one year warranty on it.

considering a problem only being 2 weeks old, should I purchase the extended warranty? 2 years - $49.99 4 years - $109.99. Not sure if figures are exact.

thanks,

Sorry but I do not give advice on things like this because
:if I say yes the unit will run perfectly for the time of the extended warranty.
:if I say no it will break down at one year plus one week.

You have 1 yr parts and labor----use it.
But I'll suggest that you make a visual check out where the noise is emitting from......Possible a kid's toy touching a fan, etc.
