We have a portable electric heater 110 VAC manufactured by Titan Model T760B1.The unit has two outputs of 1300/1500 watts. The elements put out minimal heat but they do not turn red. The elements check good with an ohm meter. The rocker switch that selects 1300 or 1500 checks good with an ohm meter. The thermostat is a Stemco P/N 444-1232 (bi-metal) and it turns the fan on and off which also passes current to the elements. I don't know how to check the thermostat further. I cannot locate any information on the thermostat but hope you can advise me on how to verify the problem. Also is there a replacement for the thermostat if needed. Your help is appreciated.
