I have a Whirlpool top loading direct-drive washer. What would it cost (estimated) for a service call (trouble-shooting plus repair), if the problem turned out to be a failed coupler?

Hi.

You have to address this question to the local appliance repair company.

Simon.

Well, the reason I am asking is because the washer belongs to my landlord, and I fixed it myself. I'm looking to see what a reasonable cost for this would have been if he had just called a repair service so I know what I should charge him. I wanted to avoid calling an actual repair shop in town because I wouldn't be enlisting their services and didn't want to bother them about it.
