I am trying to locate the safety heat limiter by itself for part number 4453909. This part number is the heat limiter and the dual element. The problem is that the element heats up but does not turn off. I have tried buying the surface element with the limiter through Part Select and they keep sending me a single surface element. If I have to buy the element with limiter I will I just need to be sure it will be the dual surface element.:( Frustrated!!

Hi.

From the information you provided I don't think the problem is the element. Most likely there is the bad infinite burner switch.
For the part numbers and more accurate assistance please provide the correct complete model number.

Thank you.

Simon.

Hi Simon,

Ordered the infinite switch from Appliance parts Pro and it arrived today. Took me 15 minutes to install and the stove is back to normal. I spent $45.00 on the part including shipping. A repair company would have easily charged between 1-2 hundred dollars. If I had come to you first I would have saved myself a lot of agravation :)

Thanks a bunch Simon
