The dishwasher drains well at end of wash cycle, but will not drain ANY water at end of rinse cycle leaving 1 1/2 gallons in tub before dry cycle begins. Screen is clean and no blockages in line. Could it be the control board or sequence switch?

Here are your parts/
Replacement parts for General Electric GSD4920Z02BB Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com

Have you checked to see if it drains between stages during a cycle?

A common problem with these units is the piston & nut (Item 564 in Section 1).
If it is not sealing during a pump out then some water gets back into the tub instead of going out the drain.
It is under the screened cover at the back of the tub and unscrews.

It drains fine after wash and at end of rinse and hold. The pump does run at all at end of rinse cycle during normal wash.

Try different cycle types to see if it will do the final drain.

It is probably the timer but I cannot be 100% sure as I cannot find a service manual for this unit,
