dishwasher runs and seems to wash dishes but leaves water in the bottom of the tub, pushed the drain button and it seems to start draining, can see water coming out thru the garbage diposal and then stops and drains no more leaving much water in the bottom..:confused:

Remove the bottom panel. Be prepared to catch some water remaining inside the dishwasher. Disconnect the drain hose from the dishwasher. Unscrew the check valve (where the drain hose was connected to) and clean it.
