top of side by side won't cool, but bottom will. have cleaned coils and replaced automatic defrost switch:confused:

Check that the vent between the sections lower down on the separating wall is clear of food etc. on both sides. It should be for proper air circulation. Is the evaporator/freezer fan running? It sounds like for some reason you do not have proper air flow in the unit so the cold air is settling at the bottom. |
