I am replacing part of the dishwasher dispenser (perhaps the whole thing which may be easier). I am always curious, so I looked at the mechanism to see how it works. It seems that you can accidentally install the unit set incorrectly if you replace parts.

When the solenoid/motor (with the two wires) pushes the white lever, the other end of the white lever alternates between two positions in the second white lever. My question is which position is the correct one to reinstall the dispenser and have the rinse dispenser operate correctly....or does it matter?

I know this is not clear to most, but if someone has replaced the levers on the dispenser, hopefully they will understand what I'm talking about.
