Hi guys, i just replaced the whole start device box due to contamination of a previous flood. before i replaced it, the compressor would click on and off immediately. Now, when the compressor cycles on, it stays on for about 3to 4 seconds, but then, still goes off. could it be because the fan is not working,or would the compressor have to run for a while for the fan to go on, or does the compressor have a saftey feature where-as if it does not recieve a fan signal it will not go on? not sure what to replace next. could any body help?! Thanks! Nick Citarella

If you replaced all the compressor components with the original parts including the run capacitor, it seem like your compressor has damaged windings. Could verify with an amprobe.
