Thanks! It might be later this weekend before we can get the washer pulled back out and the front off of it. I'll post back when we get that done.

We couldn't really tell where the sound was coming from. However, today, the tub quit moving all together when the washer was in the spin cycle.

Upon inspection, the new pully that was installed and been torn up a bit, like the one we'd taken off. Repositioned everything, cleaned/greased, put back together. The pulley turned fine, but the tub didn't move.

I think we've pretty much decided to scrap it as we do have a backup washer that was given to us recently.

Sounds like a seized up tub or spin bearing,

Glad you have a back up.

It'd make for a nice "tinkerring" project, if you're in the mood.
