My less than a year old dishwasher is not draining at end of cycle. I have checked sink pipes, they are not plugged. I do not have a cancel button to make drain, like other models. What is my best approach for repair?

Here are your parts.

Does it drain during the cycle?

Check that the drain motor is getting 120 volts when it should be draining.

Yes - it drains - except for final wash. I think can't tell with door closed. Not alot of water in bottom of washer, about 1/4" and it is not real dirty.
