Little or no flame. Tapping on valve/regulator assembly allows gas to ignite with normal, full flame for about 10 secs. then it goes out, no gas flow. Need to wait 10-15 secs before tapping to get gas to flow again (for about 10 secs)
Valve or regulator? I see some are sold together as one assembly.
Thanx!

Is this a top burner, or an oven/broiler?

Intermittent oven burner. Bottom (oven) burner, not top (broil) burner

Try cleaning the ports in the burner assembly. It may be easier if you remove the burner, so you won't have to stoop to do it. Use a toothpick, or similar instrument. Don't use anything that will enlarge or deform the holes.

If all the holes are clear, and you still have intermittent operation, you may have a weak igniter.
