GE frontloader washer WSXH208A1WW by Fridgidair

Tumbles but will not go into spin cycle. Coin trap is clean, pump runs & empties drum.
Tested per manual across pin 5 to 9 120V, no V reading between 5 & 1,2,6,10.
Trouble shooter points to timer and control.
Which one needs replaced?

According to the troubleshooting I found (Frigidaire) sounds like the problem is a bad timer. The instructions are attached to the reply.

Is the manual you referred to is GE or Frigidaire?

- The timer Part number: AP2620106
Part number: AP2620106

P.S. If you'll order the timer from Appliance Parts Pros and it would not solve the problem, you can order the motor speed control board and return the timer even if it was installed.

Manual is Electrolux. Followed same page you posted in not spin.doc.

Will water presure switch not allow to continue cycle?

I do not think so. More possible a bad door lock switches.

Is repairing timer possible?

This fault occured after pump got glogged. Cleaned it out, worked again but no spin, timer advances in earlier cycles.

Is pump supposed to run during spin cycle? Or does spin cycle start after pump stops? My pump does not stop even when empty.

Door lock appears to work correctly, have not tested it, led lights & door locks. Cycle interupts if soap tray is opened.

Did you find it inside the washer or somewhere else?

If the washer has GE logo and model number on it, the tech sheet must be GE as well.

Downloaded it, everything about it matches my machine. All the parts have Frigidaire lables. Replaced pump in the past and found it then. The tech pages that came with machine are missing.

Is this timer the same, except $30 less?

Most likely such timers are not repairable.

The Frigidaire timer you found looks pretty similar to the GE timer. I would give it a try.
