Your model number is incomplete. Usually Kenmore numbers are 3 digits, a period and then 6or 7 more digits. Please check it. Model Number LocatorYour power looks good. You only mention a thermostat and a thermal fuse. On the thermal fuse. Many units have two. One on the blower assembly, this usually kills power to the unit. The other is often near/on the heater assembly, this is the one that kills power to the heater. On the thermostat also many units have 2. A high-limit near/on the heater and the cycling thermostat usually on the blower assembly. Power to the heater will run through a centrifugal switch on the motor. This ensures that the heater does not come on till there is air flow. Also through at least one set of contacts in the timer. |
