Very loud groaning sound produced when drum turns; whether driven by motor or hand.
Please help! Thank you.

Well, sounds are difficult to diagnose in a Forum because we really need to be there to hear the type of sound.

It is possible that the rollers are bad, but if the drum is hard to turn the belt may have come off the tension/pulley.

Take off the bottom service panel and take a look. If all is well take out the drum and try replacing the rollers, belt and tension/pulley.

How disassemble dryer? How do I disassemble the front panel so I may look inside the dryer? Any help would be great.
Thanks, Walter
