 I posted a few days ago that our dryer was making a loud squealing noise. I also posted that a part had come loose and the inside of the dryer was completely filled with lint. We cleaned out the lint and the dryer would run. However, today it will not start. :( My husband thinks that we need a new drive motor. Would this be correct? Thanks for the help.

There is a thermal fuse mounted on the element housing, that could be the problem. Have your husband jump it out, and see if it comes on. It could have gotten weak, when the lint was cloged up!!!!
