It has to heat properly to allow the thermostat to close and feed power to the timer to make it advance, on the "AUTO DRY / ACCU DRY" settings, heat has no effect on a timed dry setting. You need to check for a clog or restriction in the exhaust vent system, first. You may also have a weak hi limit thermostat located on the top of the burner cone tunnel. Your most likely to have a vent problem and that would be the first place to start. An easy / quick test would be to disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the machine and run a wet load on accu dry(clear all the lint and debris from the exhaust pipe first). Good luck :)
