Dryer operates fine on timed settings and shuts off. But on AccuTemp, it keeps on running.

That particular type dryer is referred to as an auto advance dryer.

It has to heat properly to allow the thermostat to close and feed power to the timer to make it advance, on the "AUTO DRY / ACCU DRY" settings, heat has no effect on a timed dry setting.

You need to check for a clog or restriction in the exhaust vent system, first.

You may also have a weak hi limit thermostat located on the top of the burner cone tunnel.

Your most likely to have a vent problem and that would be the first place to start.

An easy / quick test would be to disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the machine and run a wet load on accu dry(clear all the lint and debris from the exhaust pipe first).

Good luck :)
