I have a Whirlpool DP920PFGY0 dishwasher and it won't start. When I push the "Normal" button, there is no noise and nothing indicating that the cycle is even attempting to start. The "Drain" button is the only button that does anything. It properly starts a draining cycle that works every time. If I dump a pot of water into the dishwasher, pushing the "Drain" button will drain it all out.
The led lights for the key pads don't light up. After running the drain cycle several times it would go into the wash cycle on Heavy wash cycle. Then it would not start doing that any more. After running the drain cycle several times I tried to push the other wash cycle pads, nothing until I pressed "pots and Pans" cycle and it did start a cycle. The green clean light does light up when the cycle is completed. I know it is just about to "shoot craps" and would like to repair if possible. Do I need a new console with key pads or the control unit or both? The lights above the washer cycle key pads do not light up but the lights above cycle status do work.
Help!!!!
