 Couldn't be more frustrateed! I pay 85 bucks for a guy to come out and tell me I need a new therm switch. He want another $200 for the part and labor. Add $200 bucks I can get a new stove!!! Sooooo......I BUY the part and put the switch in. I confirmed with Appliance pros that it is the correct part. BUT the switch doesn't work correctly. The diagram says to rotate the switch (original part number wb22x5100) 180 degrees. Its impossible to do so in REAL life what the diagram says to do. I replaced the leads one at a time so I am pretty confident those are correct. PLEASE HELP!! PLEASE!!!! -SDG Tattoo

Could you post up the instructions that came with the switch? Maybe a picture of how you have it connected?

The "OFF" isn't where the "OFF" should be. And When the switch is on "BAKE" then oven doesn't turn on bake. I also made the HUGE mistake yesterday of trying to switch leads with the oven plugged in. Sparks and some smoke and charring. So I figure I may have just ruined that switch. Praise God I was using rubber handled pliers. Thanks for posting, man. Here's another part of what I can't figure out. See attached. SDG Tattoo attached the following image(s):

You're right! A new oven is not ony better than the hospital but A LOT CHEAPER, too. There is ALWAYS a silver lining to be found. BTW, the wife and I got a great oven (Frigidaire Professional series) for a great price at Roecker and Berger on Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH. They did a wonderful job taking care of us.
I appreciate the encouragement when it seems the chips are down. Thanks and God bless, SDG Tattoo luke 9:23
