Happy Holidays All! Just had a terrible night's Christmas dinner as my wife attempted to bake a turkey without any success the other night. I checked the internal temperature of the stove and it was less than 250 even though she had set the oven for 350 degrees. I am electrically inclined but cannot find any diagrams online or what to check to see what I need to replace so I'm unsure whether to replace the element or the thermostat (I assume it has one) or the electrical controller. Of course I don't want to troubleshoot by replacing items one by one if someone can give me some idea of what to look for. The stove is a Whirlpool Model #RF315PXEQ. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Oh I almost forgot. All of the heating elements appear to work fine, the only problem is the oven. Thank you in advance. Mike McCarty mike.p.mccarty@gmail.com

Hi Mike, Pull the range out of the wall. Remove the rear cover. Remove the wires from the Bake heating element (the bottom one) and check the heating element for continuity. If the circuit is open, replace the heating element. Check for 240 VAC between these wires while the control calls for Bake. If there is no proper voltage, replace the control board. Here is the Tech sheet. - The Bake element Part number: AP3606277
