I just purchased new dishracks for a Maytag mdb2400awe. Part numbers 99001454 and 99002571. The top rack is different from the old one and has some adjustable shelves or racks. I think I can probably figure out this and their function. The bottom has some extra parts that look like plate racks. I can not figure out how these attach or work. I you can shed any light on this it would be great.

My 99002571 rack also came in with those loose added parts. But I ordered from the dealer. Looking at pictures of the rack. These are to hold about another 8 plates.... those added parts should have clips to hold them in place. Otherwise 1/4 of your lower rack is useless. I think they are just leaving the clips out. Someone needs to correct this at the supplier. I told the dealer, " I ain't paying till the clips show up."
