My tenant broke the knob and thermostat, the knob just spins. I opened the stove top and panel and looked. The thermostat was laying there and not connected to the knob. There was also a spring that looked like it was on the shaft of the thermostat. I tried to get the spring on no luck anyway the knob just spins with the shaft like it is stripped inside the thermostat. I looked at your part but it has a temperature looking probe connecetd by a wire that must go in the stove. Can I just replace the thermostat and how do I do this Thanks
