Well, I have tried adjusting the level a couple of times and this affects the rate of icicle formation but never cures the main problem of SLOW ice production. Why does this thermistor drip cause the ice formation to slow down since I have pretty high water pressure and all the filling of water should be finished the first time?

Here is the final fix: used some chewing gum and superglue to cover up the thermistor with a thin layer. The goal was to prevent water leaking down from the poor seal at the thermistor. Works better than new! Once in a while I see some ice cubes with a bit of green chewing gum in it :)
