The items (particularly in the upper tray) are not washed properly. Junk and stains remain after wash. Also some of the soap remains in the soap tray after the complete wash/dry cycle is over. I checked the machine while it was running by opening the door quickly and noticed that the fan is pouring out water but it is not spinning. I assume that it should be spinning if it is working correctly. Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

A Model Number may help others help you. Check the water level, most units fill to just under or just over the heating element. If you suspect it is not getting enough water add a gallon or 2 just after the fill cycle. If the unit now runs OK you have a low water problem. The most common cause of this is a partially clogged filter screen on the input side of the water valve. Another common reason for poor wash results is clogged filters.
