Last night the spin cycle seemed off balanced then it was quite got up this morning and it didnt spin the clothes out and now it makes a humming noise, read that it could be the coupler, what is that and where is it on the washer and where do you get the part?

Ok, start a cycle and see if it will agitate. If it will not, then move the timer to the end of the wash cycle to drain the machine and then you are ready to check the coupling.
