my washer will not spin after inital fill. motor is very warm. i was able to force into spin cycle 1-2 times. not sure what the problem is. does anybody have any idea

Gene, it makes a very loud noise when it hits spin cycle. The motor gets very hot after it cools down or has no weight in it, it works fine until it heats up.

Tilt the washer back, remove the belt and check how freely the pump is moving in both directions. - The pump Part number: AP4373022
