We have a GE Arctica Profile refrigerator. We thought the lines were clogged so we checked all the lines. We get water out of the water dispenser but have only gotten 7 ice cubes since yesterday. Could it be the ice maker itself. The refrigerator has been changing temps because of the opening and closing of the door. We replaced the bend thinking that was broken but have only gotten 7 ice cubes. Not very big ones a little smaller than what we used to get. I have part number AP4345120. could this be the problem or do you think it is something else? Thanks Susan

Turn the icemaker off for at least 30 seconds. Then turn the power back on within 15 seconds of turning it back on press feeler arm in three times (the little white arm that cuts the icemaker off when the ice touches). If done correctly the icemaker should cycle and run water. If it seems to get the right amount of water replace the icemaker provided the temperature in the freezer is right it should fix your problem. If it doesn’t get enough water replace the water valve. Note that if your ice bin is tilted back the existing icemaker will have a double striper. The striper is the device that has fingers that separates the cubes when the icemaker dumps. On some of the Arcticas the ice bin is tiled back and the striper has two sets of fingers one sticking into the icemaker and the other sticking away from the icemaker. So take the striper off the existing icemaker and install it on the new one. If you do not do this, the ice will get hung in the auger when it dumps. This will cause the icemaker to cut off prematurely. This only applies if your ice bin tilts back at an angle. Refrigerator repair guide

Refrigerator repair guide We did the precedure you recommended and the unit did reset with the striper rotating all the way around and then the flow of water followed.
