 Ice Maker and Water Dispenser not working. I replaced the dual refrigerator water valve. Control panel works. Why isn't the water getting to the ice maker and to the dispenser? If I put ice in the bin, the dispenser works. The refrigerator sat for about a year without being used. I plugged it back in...ice maker and water dispenser not working. Can you help? TroubledTerry

How old is a water filter, if there is one?
How good is the incoming water pressure?

Double check the water valve installation.
Locate the solenoid on the water valve for the water dispenser (5/16" plastic tube). Remove the wires and check for 120 VAC between them while the water dispenser calls for water.

I am getting H2o to icemaker. but not to the door.
pulled access panel getting 120v to both blue solinoids when pressing the "gimme some water darnit" button.
checked resistance 328 on both blue solonoids, and 183 on both reds ( ice maker valves)
I musta done something wrong- caue if one of the blue solonoid is bad i would think I would get a differnet resistance?
Any other suggestions???
thasnks in advance
