Thank you so much! It was not an easy job, very time consuming, but your instructions (and with the help of the video), made it possible for a Mommy and her 11 year old son to fix the washing machine. There was indeed something in the water pump, a tooth actually. I am running the washer right now and its running quietly. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Hi, I would guess you have something caught in the water pump. During agitate the pump turns a different direction then when it's pumping out or spinning. I would remove the pump and take a look inside. If there is something in the pump you don't want to leave it as it could end up cutting a hole in the pump. Then you would have a leak. I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer. (Model # LSQ8243HQ0). As the water is filling up, during wash and during rinse - the washer functions properly, but is making a buzzing sound or humming sound (high pitched type sound). During spin cycle, it functions normally without any sound. Any idea what the problem might be and how to repair it?
