I bought a 2013 used KitchenAid ice maker that has to be semi-disassembled to clean extensive mold on some parts. When trying to remove the water reservoir, I see the wiring harness for the recirculating pump has a clip attaching it to the reservoir. It's the black clip on Part# AP6022179. I've tried pushing a flathead screwdriver in the center space and squeezing both sides of the clip, but has not done the trick. The clip is about an inch from the right side of the wall and very difficult to access fully. Also, any tips on cleaning this harness to remove mold?
