During wash cycle use volt meter to check to verify voltage to motor.
Running the test cycle is very helpful. Check the Technician documents to see if you can run test cycle.
I have Whirlpool WDT790SAYB2. Wash motor was intermittent. Once it failed it had resistance in M ohms. Replaced wash motor it worked once installed but it developed leak. Purchasing "Motor to sump seal" fixed the issue. Wish I would have purchased seal with motor.

Water fills but the pump does not activate for the wash cycle. Any tips?
