While troubleshooting my 4 year old GE french door refrigerator, Model GFE28GMKJES I am trying to understand the values displayed while in diagnostic mode. Maybe they are described in the service manual, but I can't seem to find that.

For example:

  • Test 0029 "Ambient Temp Test"
displays 65 in left(FZ) display which seems like plausible ambient air temp.
But the right display(FF) displays a sequence of numbers: 61,25,43. What do those second numbers mean?

  • Test 0040 "Humidity Sensor Test"
FZ: 41 (a plausible value for humidity)
    FF: 60,75,41

  • Test 0037 "FF Door Ice Cabinet Thermistor Test"
FZ: 28 and dropping as the ice making cabinet cools after I was messing with it
    FF: 52, 25, 97, 84, 56, 43, 70, 29, 15, 2, 88, 74, and it keeps going. with occasional pauses.

Thanks,
Jeff
