I've got a Speed Queen TR3. It routinely goes into error for not meeting speed on the spin cycle. The machine runs through all the agitation, but can't get going on high speed. After unplugging it for a few days and testing the motor the first time this happened, it was able to run for a few cycles then errored again. This has happened a few more times with degrading returns. It may or may not run for one complete cycle before going into error at this point.
The coils on the motor test out great. Visual inspection of the circuit board looks fine. I did notice that when the motor is called to run, that I can pick up voltage from the motor case. The readings match what is being sent to the harness connecting the motor. Maybe this is normal or is there some short in the motor? Could this be causing the inability to initiate high speed spin? Any other ideas on pinpointing the issue?
