www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk] Sameday fridge repairs. Fridge side working but the freezer side not then the issue is that there is a restriction/blockage in freezer evaporator. All new Samsung refrigerators now use inverter compressors and are prone to this problem.

I checked the freezer coils and there is no ice or frost. I can feel some cool air blowing through vent in back of freezer.

Any help in this forum?

The fridge is working, the freezer is not cooling. The built-in digital temperature for the freezer reads -2 and fridge reads -35.

When I open the freezer and hold the switch that turns off the light in the freezer, after about 10 seconds I hear the fan in the freezer turn on. I'm guessing that would be the evaporator fan??

I put a thermometer in the top drawer of the freezer and it is reading 49 degrees.

The other day I did the Force Defrost and after a few minutes touched the back section in the freezer to see if it was getting warmer and it was.

Not sure what the next step is.

No water or frost inside the freezer. I have not checked behind the panel to see if there is any ice behind it.

Cleaned the coils on the back of the fridge.

What should I do next? Anyone else have the same problem?

Thank you.
