Some fill valves operate on 12v so first thing is to confirm the voltage. That should be indicated on a label on the valve.
After that, the only truly valid test of a fill valve is to power it independently, with the hose removed and emptying into a dish or whatever.

Hi guys. I've got a model gsd3600g00bb dishwasher and it's not filling with water. I've already changed the water inlet valve and nothing has changed. The float switch seems to working fine.

I tested the power going the inlet valve and it's showing anywhere from 10 to 20 volts and Ive read it's supposed to be 120 volts. Can anyone help me?? Thanks in advance
