Same thing, left side hinge cracked! Now the machine won’t work because the lid won’t lock. Frustrating!

This is the second time the left hinge broke. First time May tag replaced lid. Now the lid has broke again

Same issue here. What’s it take for there to be a recall?

My has broken twice in 4 years… this machine is garbage. Maytag tried to blame it on me also. Mine also breaks at the left hinge.

It is too early for a class action lawsuit; however the front load Maytag washers were having similar problems less than three years ago. Spending $400 plus labor to have this 21 month old Maytag Bravo top load washer repaired doesn't make sense. Are there any other customers facing this or do you have any suggestions other than purchasing another brand of top load washer or keep pouring money into this Maytag washer?
Thanks. I have had the same problem with this washer. Lid number 5 getting put on Friday. I. Up for the class action suit also. This is ridiculous. Purchased mi e at Lowe’s in 2018.

Purchased mine in 2020. Replaced lid once in 2022. Now again in 2023

If everyone on here is having the same problem then why don’t we file a class action suit?

I’m on my fifth lid. Bought in 2818. It’s ridiculous. I’d file a class suit if I could find a lawyer that did those. I live in a small town so none around here.

I have the same problem. This makes lid number 5 since 2018. I would file a class action suit just can’t find a lawyer that does that. sallywelch@ twc.com
