My wife and I moved into our home in July of 2020. Our home is ~ 12 years old so I'm assuming the appliances are as well. Ever since we moved in, the microwave as been making occasional popping noises that sound just like Popcorn. This happens and we notice when all is quiet at home and in the evening (likely happens all the time we are just to busy during the day to notice/ There is typically nothing in the Microwave when this is happening. I've not disassembled or done anything other than a visual inspection. Overall the Microwave seems to work find for heating food. Our only annoyance is the popping noise. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on here and how I might fix this issue?
