We own a Bosch SHE55R55UC/64 dishwasher purchased at Sears, so the model number might be different. Purchased in 2013. I usually turn it on (controls only accessible when door is open), then close the door, then hear it start to run. Now when I push the "on" button, it immediately starts making sounds like a garbage disposal, although my actual garbage disposal isn't as loud. As it was already filled and ready to run, I let it run to see what would happen. The noise soon stopped and it ran the cycle until about 30 min left when it started making the loud noise again and I turned it off. Dishes were clean (a bit wet), water had drained. It is just so odd to have noise coming out when the door is open! Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. I am slowly learning to fix my appliances as something breaks, but usually it is obvious and thus easy to diagnose, such as cracked glass cook top stove. Thank you!
