Hi. Have you tried running an empty load for a full cycle? Don't mean to be insulting but we tried all these different ways to unlock our old lid and out of desperation, we ran an empty load and lo and behold--It unlocked. Good luck!

Hello. I have just replaced the lid switch for my Amana mod # Ntw4516fw1 washer. It arrived in the lid locked position and remained there even after installation. I have heard others have had this issue after replacing the lid switch but have not seen the answer. Please help.
