I was using our LG washer and at end of cycle, clothes were soaking wet. Washer had counted down to 0. There were no error codes. I put it on rinse & spin to get water out, and I could hear cold water running into detergent dispenser.

I turned off water at shutoff, and it stopped filling. I turned water back on, and geard the water running again. I then pressed the power button on the machine, and water flow stopped with machine off.

I turned machine back on to rinse & spin but with water turned off. The machine finished spinning and counted down to 0. After I took out the clothes, I turned machine and water back on and cold water was no longer running.

From what I've read, if the cold water inlet valve was bad, the water would continue to run even with washer power turned off. Is that right? My water shut off when I turned off the power. I also read that it could be pressure switch, or possibly control board.

Thanks for any help

Dave
