I've done some troubleshooting on this issue but haven't found the root cause yet. This all started because the Dryer lint tray wasn't emptied when it should've been. I've since gone through and cleaned out all the lint even inside the lint duct and exit duct.
The thermal cut-off keeps blowing out, I've replaced it and the High limit fuse 2 times already and it's always the cut-off that reads as bad{no continuity) when it fails, works for about 1 load. I haven't replaced the latest cut-off and high limit as I don't want to lose my last set. I checked all the other components including the timer, to test the timer I turned the dial onto the main operating position about 2 o'clock (50min mark) and tested for continuity and it read good, tested in the 20min mark with the dial at the 6 o'clock position and received no continuity.

Would having a bad cut-off still installed skew the testing?
I'm kind of out of ideas at this point, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
