Home in Terre Haute, Indiana built in 1950; original ovens installed in an opening in brick, not woodwork. The top oven selector switch (bake, time bake, broil, etc.) isn't working. The repair part is WB22X5131, which is no longer available.

I suspect that the interior contacts are gummed up Is a replacement or-equal switch available? Is a good, used switch available? Can anyone suggest how to refurbish the existing switch?

If the switch cannot be replaced or repaired, the ovens will need to be replaced. Does anyone have information on the "standard" size of this double oven? Any chance someone would have installation information for the JK25 series? As above, the ovens are in brick, not wood cabinetry, so it will be a chore to resize the opening for a replacement appliance. I'd like to at least get replacement ovens that will fit in the current opening.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bill
